Yea though her spirit yearned to battle and free all those caged within the festered gloom, she too quailed before such vile notes that echoed amidst their breathes and beating hearts. It was a sonorant of rot, and death shalt surely follow.
Accepting the scarlet warrior's guidance, Talea slipped away into the gathered shadows, where above, Night and bitter air awaited her. Like nettles, her sorrow burrowed beneath her skin. What dost such corruption wrought that their powers prove futile? When mortal vessels called for retribution, where did she cower?
In every step drawn nigh their egress, she lamented for each fleeting soul that faded beyond her hand. Yet Night knew time had nay risen for conquest. His presence urged her onwards, whilst her mind clung to what lingered behind.
Assured, they would return to this forsaken plague. They shall not rest till all hath perished in their wake.

Their steps were silent enough to not be noticed. Their promices - heard only by ears of those that mattered. The monsters - left unseen and unbatteled, but also unaware of the intrusion... hopefully. Leaving a passage and getting back on the road was easy. Even thought they did lost one of their scout-mates, the mission was still acomplished. Cultists were gathering from all the places around the estate. Slaves were brought in from distant lands, bought with golden hoards stashed around the estate for purposes unknown. A sacrifice on the day of Solstice, most massive yet. And only ten days to gather the men.
As the two traversed the road, they could hear behind them a familiar tune, sung by many voices... echoing trough the woods. Tune they will not soon forget. New cages were slowly making their way to the Ruins. New lives were put on the altar of the mad murderous god.
The reward for the information provided was more than what was promised initially, due to the death of one group-member and the sensitivity of the information. Two women were rewarded with 950 gold each for their efforts. They were also offered positions on the next expedition, with reward many times bigger than the previous one, and also humbly asked to assist in gathering the necessary group. Heir was willing to spare no expense on preventing a catastrophe that could be unleashed if nothing is done.
The clock was ticking.
