Eved “Kallikantzaros”
-Appearance:
Age:22
Sex:Male
Physical Description:
He’s 5”5’ tall, weighing 100 lbs with zero fat on his body. His muscles are stretched around his skeleton. The skin bears so many scars from all the abuse he had to sustain. Most of the cuts run along his veins, which are filled with black blood.
His hair is black with occasional miniscule patch red hair, his beard is growing sporadically without control. His eye colour is as black as his blood
Attire:
A rag covers the top of his body and his head. The pants and boots are not his, probably taken from someone who no longer needs them.
Biography:
Quirks:
+ Pain-enduring - Bruises, cuts, deep wounds, broken bones, removed nails and cut pieces of skin… and things more scary than one could imagine it. He suffered through it all. He knows what it is. And he knows how to live with it.
+ Owl - Eved is used to living in the night. His eyes accept the dark and see through it. The light is more of a obstacle.
+ Silence - Weak in body, Eved had to solve his problems by sneaking about and running away...and sometimes by getting behind the guard and slitting his throat with something sharp.
+ Forced to Kill - For a slave to be free - killing is as necessary a skill as sneaking and running away. Eved hates it, but he cant survive without it. If his freedom is obstructed, if he put in chains, if someone decides to end his life - he willl rather do whats necessary than give up. After awhile - breaking necks, gutting and slithing throats became easy for him...
- Pyrophobia - Tortured with the flame, forced to burn from within and without. Even a small candle makes him shiver. Torch will keep him away as far as possible. Campfire will give him a full on panic attack.
- Outcast - physical disfigurement, fear of losing those he makes connections with combined with general lack of trust to his fellow man make Eved separate himself from everyone else, be it in battle or in life.
- Weakness - Weak muscles, with nothing to fuel them make for weakest punches and less ability to carry anything.
- Penniless - Eved is bad with money. He doesn't like it. If he ever gets it - he quickly wastes it all on food and new good enough clothes… or literally gives it away to anyone else. To him - money is what he was bought and sold for many times. And therefore he will not sully his hands with something that can buy lives. Even if it means for him to live on the street with nothing to his name and beg for food.
- Illiterate - He learned only basics of written greek words. English is familiar to his ear, he can speak it, but his brain does not understand anything written, besides simple yes or no and his name.
- Phantom Pain - Many a trauma sustained, but none left behind. Multitude of scars ache, summoning an echo of old pain from time to time, especially during times of emotional stress.
Bio-Synopsis:
“I’ll follow the stars when the sun goes to bed
Till everything i’ve ever known is long dead.
I can't go back home cause i want to be free.
Someone tell the others what’s become of me.”
A slave, outcast, runaway. Abandoned. Cursed. Disfigured. Shunned. Accepted only by his own ilk. Hamlet for him is a chance to hide at the edge of the world, to outlast those who want to see him in chains.
But in his black blood lies a curse, that will never leave him be.
Will he fight it, or accept it as a part of his legacy?
Full Biography (so far):
-Strengths and Weaknesses:
Weapons: Two rusty knives for meat.
Armor: None. He covers his body with rag and his pants and boots are stolen from someone long dead.
Other gear: Two belts - one of which connects his rags and his pants, the other - holds a small satchel with miniscule provision.
Strengths:
Passing for beggar, draped in rags, Eved hides his condition good enough to not cause questions. But even if someone sees his disfigurement, Eved will not care for verbal reaction - he’s got used to being called a freak.
He is stealthy enough to be unnoticable at first, but not enough to be completely ignored.
Weaknessess:
His physical shape is an utter horrorshow of scars, broken bones, and muscles who can only bear the weight of bones they support. General malnutrition is clear from the first look upon that man. Make no mistake, he can fight for himself, but his fighting style is dodge, hit and run if you didn't kill the bastard in the first strike. He awoids the fire at any cost, and thus oft will stay as far away from such lightsources as it is possible.
Abomination:
His second form is his blessing and curse. The only way for Eved to release the monstrosity concealed within his blood (which is highly flammable) is to burn it, burn part of himself or self-immolate. As soon as the blood flowing in his veins contacts with the fire - the transformation begins. The process is painfull and inflicts a lot of damage on his psyche. Sometimes Eved completely forgets what he was doing in this form and with it - sometimes hours of memory before the moment of transformation.
The only good side of the transformation for Eved is a complete makeover of his insides - broken bones grow together and any terminal damage to the internal organs is negated. Wounds and scars itself do not disappear though(excluding burns), so while removed from the death’s door, he is still extremely weakened and can die if not treated..
The beast is a monstrosity completely different from Eved’s form - large red-hide beast, with razor sharp claws on arms and legs, his body - constantly exuding scorching heat, making his hair move as if it was on fire. His muscles are strong enough to break through weak walls, and his jaws can easily bite through most thick bone.
Fire is useless against him in that form. His hearing and sense of smell become that of an animal.
But the downside is - the beast is prone to destruction of his surroundings, leveling walls if it strikes his fancy, and has a taste for meat. Transformation makes him extremely hungry. Humans, beasts...monsters, dead bodies... he makes no exceptions, feasting on them with fervor of hungriest glutton.
Flaming mongrel is not completely devoid of thought and can discern an ally from enemy by their smell(though he is not so keen to hold those alegiances when he's hungy) and can express his basic emotions and desires in combination of roars and growls mixed with one-word sentences of actual human speech.
When his hunger is quenched and the rage has stopped the beast usually goes away… Unless something else provokes his anger.

Full Biography (so far):
A cursed child was born in Greece on December of 25, believed to be one of the spawns of Kallikantzaros for in his veins blood of pitch black colour was flowing. The bygone laws of the Polis, religious and crude, demanded the child to be left in the mountains at the mercy of the gods. His mother refused and was banished from the city-state with her child. Without support of the city, mother and her child were at the mercy of the Fates.
Somehow they managed to survive on their own untill the boy got to the age of five… but then their luck run out. They were taken by bandits, enslaved and separated from each other...seemingly forever.
He was taken off to the lands far from Greece, his name - taken away from him. Replaced with Eved...the word that in some language meant exactly what he was. Slave.
He was kept mostly as a pet, toy, an attraction for the noble snobs...a punching bag made to do menial work. Alas, despite being a good worker, Eved was a rebel inside. Fighting for his own freedom, escape attempts and refusal to obey demeaning orders forced him to be punished and in the end - often change masters. One of them was a foreigner who brought him into his lands, where he was educated in spoken language and was actually treated more reasonably than anywhere else.
