Villon Vakol
-Appearance
Age:
47
Sex:
Male
Weight-
210lbs
Height-
6'0
Physical Description:
A large, bulky commoner, clearly a pioneer of the working class. Wrought with muscle gained from eating sheep, boar and other animals he hunted on a daily basis in his previous life, and through physically demanding activities such as lifting timber or chopping trees down. Yet the mans physique doesn't resemble a Mountain man, a mixture of muscle and fat seemed to gather on his chest, whilst his arms had the majority of muscle. The mans hairstyle, if you can call it that, is quite simply Bald, yet the mans impressive medium sized beard that stretches from his left cheek to his right makes up for such hair loss. A broad nose, bushy eyebrows and hints of grey depict Villon clearly in his middle ages, if the uprising of the grey hairs, and the couple of wrinkles forming on his face were anything to go by. The mans skin color resembles an ashy grey, with slips of wrinkles passing through on his face and other areas. The underside of his eyes appear baggy, darkened by a lack of sleep most likely, accompanied by thin lines of age to follow.
Attire:
Standard commoners attire, a leather tunic dyed a dark brown, along with some rough linen pants with a short length of tough rope meant for tying up trees. The quality itself is as you would expect, partially torn, but not too bad. Stitches from long ownership mar the joint areas.
-Biography
Quirks:
☩ Tree Feller
☩ Grit Forged [The sheer bulk and fat to form this mountain was not gained by lollygagging around, but by hard work. Hard work pays off, making it hard for weapons to cut deep into his skin, not to mention the stamina he brings.]
☩ Mankind Hater [Sceptical of anything resembling a human, paranoid, and rejecting. Though... friendship seems possible, as long as they watch their footing around this bear.]
✕ Despair seeker [No matter the topic, or the point, a corrupt and depressing source drives this man into a deep pit of despair, and ill morale, though thankfully this is just a lapse on occasion..]
✕ Dull Minded [Stereotypes of a large, sturdy man seem to be true this time, though not by his muscle... but by his financial status and position which rendered him unable to seek education.]
X Faithless [Priests or women of cloth will never gain his respect, nor does he think that they deserve to be heard.]
Synopsis:
Enraptured by a wave of guilt, and sorrow, Villon longs to be with his family after their... brutal passing, forced by his own hand, caused by the corruption of society and religious powers. All that remains is a humble, yet clearly depressed man that was once a proud and happy Father.
Full:
Misc. Notes:
-Locket containing a family drawing, of him, his wife, and his three children. Worn around his neck, underneath his tunic. Their faces are murky, almost blurred from long weathering, though Villon will always recognise them. His family, his only family.
-Horrific scarring will soon be formed on the mans side due to an explosion literally occuring on his body.
-Inside his left back pocket, a small ring made out of gold, with an emerald fixed into the top. The ring is in very poor condition, with cuts and scratches etched into the sides, along with a glazing of dry blood mottling a small area of the ring, near the emerald itself.
-A scar sigil carved into the palm of his right hand, depicting that of an Elk's head.
-Skills & Equipment
Weapons:
An iron axe, typically meant to cut off heads. Although it's weight makes it unsusual for combat... the right user can make this a devastating tool if used proper. The axe head material is a thick cast iron axe blade, weighted to allow for greater chops. The shaft is fashioned out of oak, chipped smoothly and with a thick linen wrapping near the grip area.
Armor:
A torn, ripped apart leather jerkin, blackened by an explosive.
Other gear:
None
Strengths:
Strong
Durable
Precise hitter
Fatherly figure
Good motivator
Weaknesses:
Alcoholic
Depressed
Uneducated
Tends to lean toward the more afflicted side of things

When life was calm, and peaceful, Villon lived in a fishermen town located in Scandnavia, promiently in Norway. His job seemed to be several things: A lumberjack, fishermen, carpenter and a...executioner. The last part, was the bloodiest and probably the hardest for Villon to go through. He had such a good swing, that he was practically forced by the mayor of the town to undertake, or else the taxes would be increased for his family. Public entertainment was always a first for the mayor...
Above all else.
Nearing that awful event, Villon had began to show signs of refusal to the Mayor, specifically not doing the Executioner job he was demanded to do. In a fit of outrage, the Mayor contacted the local priest of their village, and conspired against him. Until eventually the priest was convinced that Villons wife, and three children were witches. That night... they were kidnapped, and unknowingly, Villon had partook in a four man execution that day. There heads were covered with cloth, and they were gagged... and Villon slew them all swiftly, without even knowing of their passing until later on.
After he had found out that he had executed his family, bloodlust, and victimised rage took hold of Villon. He took hold of his axe, gripping it so tight his knuckles went white, and he slew many guards on his path to revenge. The bells tolled, reports of a raving madman wielding an axe had stricken down many civilians, and guards.
The finale act, was when he reached the mayors manor atop the hill, with the church directly below it, and chopped through the door, and ruthlessly slaughtered his entire family, chasing them down as if he were a serial killer and brutalising, mutilating them in such horrific ways where even Villon felt like vomitting after he had escaped. He left the mayor the last alive, and killed him the slowest. Villon, without mercy, had broke his legs to prevent him from escaping, and then chopped off all his limbs as he still breathed, though he did pass out of shock early on. Finally, he dragged the mans unconscious body up to the highest floor of his manor... and threw him out of the window, the screams he bellowed were cut off, as he was impaled upon the 'Lights' icon, which was spiked hence the impalement.
Villon walked out of there, drenched in the blood of the innocent and guilty. He had gone mad that night, lost his will to live, his will to care about any other human. But after that... he knew better than to hurt another soul that didn't deserve it. So, he made his way to the hamlet...
To seek redemption... to find his family once again.
