She was startled to wake by an intruding nurse. "Ooh! No one's supposed to be in here."
Courcy sat up on her elbow, her head dizzy with sleep. Her eyes felt crusty and had left faint stains on the bed sheet. The nurse seemed about to speak again, but Courcy righted herself and hopped from the cot. Sniffling and rubbing her eyes, she fled from the room. "I'm sorry..."
[Courcy retrieves her weapon and exits the sanitarium, retreating in the direction of the tavern]

Libourg yelped and bit his finger as the alcohol burned through the wound, disinfecting it properly. His face went red and he left teeth marks in his finger, though it stopped him from screaming aloud.
"Owwww..." Libourg hissed as he shook his bit finger, though his other arm remained steady.

Celeste prepped a needle and thread, and went about stitching up the wound. "You could explain howthis happened." she says.

Without anaesthetic, it was hard to get words out as he was stitched up with a needle. The occasional prods of pain caused by the needle made him wince, though he would try to explain himself to the best of his abilities. He visibly stiffened as she called him out, though he replied with a deep sigh.
"I went to visit a fellow knight, who I carried to the sanatorium after he stumbled back... wounded horrifically by the things out there." Libourg began, pausing as he winced again at the prod of the needle, though he soon continued.
"..It had been quite a while since I had seen him, so I decided to pay him a visit. He was in a coma... though he awoke, and he..." Libourg paused yet again, not out of pain, but of grief.
"-He wasn't himself. Ronin, bless'd be the man, had been afflicted by whatever evil, diabolical things lurk out there. And he... well, did this with his sword." Libourg gestured toward his wounded arm, exhaling sharply through his nose as he produced a quick smile toward Celeste, but looked down toward the ground with a depressed look.
"I-.. I had to cut out his joint, b-but he moved too violently... I pinned him against the wall with my own blade, going straight through his shoulder." Libourg confessed with a ball of emotion building in his throat, shaking his head whilst combing his hair back with his free hand.

"I've alwayssaid we should not allow patients any access to weapons for this reason. By the sounds of it that man maynever hold a sword again." Celeste says in a sad tone as she works quickly and skillfully.

Pain. The door to the Sanitarium swung open widely, the shoe-less, ragged man known as Dewitt pushed his way in. His grunts of pain and bleeding nose, along with his blood soaked fabric upon his shoulders parted the staff. His breathing had slowed in his time to get to the towering place, and now Dewitt searched the room. "A doctor. Someone. I fear I fractured my rib."
The pain of the broken rib was excruciating, but his voice did not betray that pain. The shooting pain of broken bone peircing or grating against his internal flesh made standing very tiring.

"... Least the man won't be a threat to anyone else... or himself." Libourg noted bitterly, his winces and growls of pain silenced as he succumbed to a momentarily. After a minute, the stitching is eventually finished, done in an impressive manner, the wound closed and blood loss now abated. Libourg flexes his hand a little, a couple pokes of pain, but nothing too bad.

"I'm going to put your armin a sling so you don't go swinging it around and opening up the wound again. No using this arm, understood?" she says as she starts to wrap the arm in gauze.

"O-of course!" Libourg quickly agreed upon as he leaned his arm toward her, turning his head finally toward Celeste to look upon her.
"I'm... sorry, that I'm putting you through such stressful work.." Libourg apologised sincerely, trying to remain humble, and not say anything that may upset her. He would've added 'with what's happened through these coming days', but Libourg had the common sense to assume that would create backlash, which he didnt need.

"I'm sorry you've been getting yourself cut up in my absence. Did you...kill that man?" Celeste asks, not looking at Lib and focusing on creating a sling from bandage.

"..No. No I didn't." Libourg says as his arm is hoisted upward, and placed into a delicate sling.
"The doctors have him in good hands now, though I hope he doesn't perish." Libourg voice out, looking yonder toward the exit of the cell. He eventually looked back down, fiddling with his bloodied garments.

Celeste we silent for a long time, slowly wiping away sticky, drying blood from her hands as she hung her head and stared at the floor. "What happened to us...what did I do to us...?" she asks softly.
Just then a monk looking fellow popped his head in the door which had not been locked. "There is to be a sermon held by the abbey head. She expects maximum attendance. Come with all haste...if safety allows." he says quickly before popping out again. Celeste looked surprised, then conflicted, gazing around the room nervously.

It was hot in here, dreadfully hot. The constant moving bodies letting off constant heat, with some now grabbing him and moving the thin, towering man down hallways. Even the Sanitarium couldn't stop the Roses. They swarmed here, the sick and the wounded congregating here was perfect for them. Blood to suckle, dreams to invade. Dewitt's sight was surrounded by black borders, expanding, undulating. They threatened to take consciousness from him, the pain was immense and the piercing sensation felt real. Clearly it had angled up and stabbed outwards, and after laying him down and removing his shirt, he could see the point of the bone sticking up out of his skin. He couldn't keep his eyes open long enough to see why yelps sounded soon after seeing this point, but he wouldn't find out.

Libourg didn't say anything at first, barely passing a glance at the messenger about a Sermon. He kept that in thought, but at the moment, there were more pressing matters at hand. A gentle glance directed itself at Celeste, before staring off into the distance in silence, boring his gaze into the door before he let out an exhausted sigh.
"...You've done nothing to us. And if there is... it's probably my fault." Libourg admitted bitterly, straightenign himself up as he let out a shaky sigh, before lolling his head back down to the floor again.
"D-do you think we may be going too fast?" Libourg asked with genuine curiosity, finally turning his head up to Celeste once again.

"I think....you are too soft on me. Always blaming yourself, even when I treat you poorly..." Celeste says with a sad smile and a hollow laugh. "I'm no good for you..." She concludes, slumping heavily.
