Rellen did his best to adjust to the squirms of the woman in his arms, slowing down to accommodate the movements, speaking a calmly, quickly manner to her. “My name is Rellen Rafaanis, I’ve brought you to the Hamlet’s Sanitarium after a man carried you out of the Cove; you need not panic.” The aged man stopped, both in word and movement, letting the clamoring of footsteps reach them; a caretaker with a worried look glanced down at Missy, then up to Rellen. "This woman is badly injured-she needs aid immediately!"
"This way, please!" The lady ushered him to follow.

"O-oh." Missy stilled, still glancing around frantically at her surroundings and back at Rellen. Her wound was hurting again and she let out a cry of pain, wincing as the bloody coat and rag moved around and touched her exposed flesh.

The woman eventually lead him down one of the halls to an adjacent, vacant room. Waisting no time, Rellen, as carefully as he could, lay Missy down on the singular bed. “You need to lie still while we tend to the wound, miss.” The elder woman said as she scurried about the room, before arriving by Missy’s wound. Rellen quickly unbuttoned the coat away from the wound, applying pressure to the rag covering the leaking wound, taking it away before the caretaker began to properly dress it.

“W-wait I’m not wear-“ Missy flushed a brilliant crimson as the still somewhat unknown male unbuttoned part of the coat, moving her arms quicky to protect her dignity as much as she could, her sentence ending abruptly as her focus switched to defending herself. She seemed on the edge of tears, whether from the pain or embarrassment and shame indistinguishable.

The caretaker wasn't phased as she began finishing up with the bandages, a bit slower through Missy's defensive actions.
Without hesitation, Rellen began scrounging through his pack, producing an old piece of cloth while cursing silently and avoiding eye contact towards the bed. He unraveled the old, yet large Frost Mane Banner quickly, throwing it over her exposed chest, and tucking it under her back on either side; drawing up the blanket part-way once the elder woman was finished.

"T- uh, t-thank you Mister er, Rennen?" Missy smiled gratefully when she was covered again, glaring at the indifferent caretaker before looking back at Rellen.
"When can I leave? I need to meet up with that expedition group again..." Missy almost salivated at the thought of fresh food and fresh clothes, bought with her own coin, hard-earned or not. She'd have to retrieve Tilly's clothing from Talea and return them once she got her own clothing. And maybe a bag to store said clothing in so she wouldn't have to be naked all the time.

The elder woman let out a single laugh as she washed her hands in a bowl of water, "With a wound like that, not for a long while!"
Rellen backed up, looking at the blood now splashed on the bandages of his arm. "I'm afraid she's correct miss. That wound needs time to heal." There was a pause of thought as he tried to rub away the blood with his good hand, knowing full well it would sink into the strands further. He sighed, undoing an intricate tie under his wrist, as he unraveled the bandage away from the ladies' eyes, before turning back with it tied and covered again, and the blood now gone.
"I could take your place in your expedition-" He nodded a bow to Missy, "rest assured what I gain will go straight to your hands; there will be no compensation."

"I've heard there are some rather dangerous things out there," Julian admitted, tucking a lock of hair behind his ear as they ascended the steps. "I'm a little afraid t-to find out what all that entails." He gave him a sheepish smile, then reached out to pull open one of the heavy front doors. "Ah...You're more than welcome to join me, but it might b-be a little boring. Perhaps they'll give us a tour of the place." He held the door for Tino. "Suppose I'd better stop p-prattling on about plants and focus on the work they'll actually have me doing," he chuckled and glanced inside. A rather stony-looking nurse at the front desk made him clear his throat awkwardly. (Continued from the streets!) -Constantino "The few rumors I've been told have not been kind towards this place. Oh! thank you." He slipped by through the door, stopping a short way in as to allow Julian to take up the lead. The comment got a little chuckle before his attention was brought it the nurse. Even despite her stony disposition and the slight awkward feeling he got from his acquaintance, Tino still smiled brightly towards her. "Ah, hello! My Doctor friend here is wishing to introduce himself." His tone was as sweet and genuine as he was when speaking with Julian, albeit a bit less anxious now that he had the distraction of conversation to help calm his nerves a bit.

The rumors he'd heard were not kind, either, and the dismal air of the place gave him a feeling that they were more true than he hoped. The place was dimly light, and had a sickly green tint to it. Julian cleared his throat as he went up to the front desk and held his hand out to the stone-faced nurse.
"Doctor Julian Bellemonte. Here to f-fill the position of field medic, and to help in the town where I'm needed," he tried, giving her a soft smile. But even with both of the men smiling at her, her expression did not change. She hesitated, then shook his hand stiffly.
"Charmed," she answered flatly. "We do not have an office for you, but you may have some access to our utilities and supplies so long as you are not careless with them. You will need to ask us to unlock things for you, though. We've had a rather high turnover rate here, so we are not in the business of giving out keys to the building." At this, she finally gave him a rather unnerving grin. "I'm sure you understand."
"...I understand," he answered and pulled his hand back, glancing over his shoulder at his newfound friend. "Shall we get some supplies for a field kit, then?"

He'd taken a step back to allow Julian to speak and took the moment to glance about the room. Habit kept his hands clutched together close to his stomach almost as if he were praying to keep them from touching anything they shouldn't of. The nurse already seemed largely unimpressed with them, so he actively tried to keep from making matters worse. Nurse aside the air of the building seemed heavy almost. A bit different from out in the street but more concentrated. Did all doctors have to work in places such as this when not doing house calls? He'd never really thought much on those in the profession in all honesty considering his family had turned to the church for their ailments. Tino perked some as Julian spoke to him once more and nodded. "Yes, if that is alright?" Sure he probably didn't need express permission but he'd ask out of habit anyway.

Tino's bright expression was a welcome sight after the nurse's unsettling smile--and after getting a feel for the entire atmosphere of the place, really. Julian patted his shoulder affectionately before heading past the desk, toward a staircase the nurse was gesturing toward.
"Supplies are on the second floor," she continued. "Ask one of the nurses on the ward to unlock the room for you."
"I shall," he answered, and trotted up the stone steps. "Constantino, t-tell me. A brave young man like you must have been out in the fields before. What did you all f-find yourselves most in need of? I shall try to take extra of it..."

Given the go ahead, Tino was quick behind in following his companion up the stairs only briefly turning to offer a short appreciation her way before he hustled up the steps. "Grazie mille!"
He was only a few steps behind Julian when he was asked. The question felt like it pierced through his chest. What should have been kind praises only felt like digging remarks latching themselves firmly to his guilt. He was not brave. He was a coward who ran on his first embarkment. And here he was, receiving praise as if he had courageously gone to war like he was intended to and survived. As if he hadn't cut down the son of the people who raised him, the brother he looked up to to flee like the mouse he was. The question rooted him to the step he stood on for a moment as he fought for words all the while clasping his hands tight and close to his body. He struggled to look up from the floor as he finally spoke. "I'm sorry. I've given you the wrong impression but I'm not brave nor am I a proper soldier.." He wrung his hands a little before continuing. "But.. I remember us packing Willow Bark and bandages. Needles and thread were also important.." He tried recollecting what he could to give at least better attempt at a proper answer. Doing so didn't help alleviate his guilt any though.

[TRANSITIONING FROM MISC. BUILDINGS [SMITHY] : HLOKK, EZEKIEL, ELOHIM, TALEA] |HLOKK|
Despite her stubbornness, she couldn't deny that weakness was steeping into her bones as she moved; the door to the Sanitarium seemed abnormally heavy as she grunted and pushed it open, leaving behind her bloody handprint as she assumed to stand inside. Having to angle her sword from clanging against the doorframe, it proved futile as the tip smacked into the top as she made her way inside. It was enough to grab the attentions of some of the nurses who looked on from their rather busy night with some dread to the mercenaries. "It will not be chance that I kill those bandits, Ezekiel. Glory does not wait for chance." She answered her comrade finally, looking out at them with a tired eye, "I will not let winter steal my kill."

[EloHim] [Transition from Smithy]
As the Hlokk bumps his fist into him, letting him know exactly where they stand, he raises his hands, giving up to her command. He didn't want to make her an enemy, Red knows they had enough of those outside the Hamlet's walls. They travel without issue, the brigand threat seemingly eradicated. As they enter the Sanitarium he notices that for some reason or other bandits avoided burning this place to the ground...Fools. A town without a proper medical facility is more vulnerable to disease. They could've attacted this building and would've done more harm than in any other place. Tavern was replacable, smiths were easy to find, priests were basically everywhere, but proper medical personel with skilled hands? That would've been difficult to restore.
"Then you mayhaps be willing to go after them?" - Elohim asked, using her words as a cue.-"After some short rest obviously." This was exactly what they needed. Fight on their own terms, rather than theirs. Nipping it in the bud was the most correct course of action, and...knowing the Hamlet's history, the least expected one. "We need to remove this threat, least they'll come back in larger numbers to avenge their dead. And they most likely will after hearing of what we did to them."- he had no doubt they will be back. This was too short an incursion to be something other than a scouting force albeit a large one. And he didn't want to protect himself from something bigger.
He motioned Ezekiel to go with him as he briefly explained to nurses the situation and allowed them to place her in one of the wards. He hoped she would not be confined there for long, but at the same time hoped she'd see the value of rest in a proper bed.
"Thank you both for accompanying us. I hope that by placing her here we prevented some rather unpleasant developments. Thank you, Ezekiel. I doubt I would've carried her here as quickly as you.”- he thanks both of them for their assistance. He could only hope his thanks would be enough.

He admired the warrior woman's dedication to the hunt - but if Winter was the killer to take the man, then let it take him. A strategic death at the hands of the unkind elements was just as good as death on a blade. And much easier, as well. But he says none of this to her of course, simply nodding and following the man to the doctors. Talea, as she was called, was passed off.
The nurses fuss over her as Elohim addresses him, and he scoffs lightly, patting a hand against his plate. "Of course! Of course, happy to help, happy to be of service. What else are we here for if not to care for brothers in arms? Or sisters," he adds, another glance and nod paid to Hlokk.
"If they are back, I will be ready to fight again. And if you really are so set, phoenix-redblade Hlokk, on going after them in the snows, then perhaps at your side I'll charge! A rallying cry!"
A doctor sends him a death glare so piercing the man blusters into silence, smoothing down his beard.
