"Well,at least they allowed you to stay within the church. Though it wouldn't be very fair if the woman was still imprisoned." Ignis says, tapping at her cheek with a finger.

Tod looked down, away from her gaze. "There is a lot I would have rather done than go through training. It is only after I finished that I finally was able to embrace whatever job I received."
He seemed discontented with the idea, but his eyes grew soft, whatever he may be thinking, it seemed to be hard to think about. He tapped his leg unceremoniously, looking back over at his half-done letter. "Y'know, when I first came here, I almost died, and I was put back together on the floor of this Abbey."
He cocked his head to the side. "Maybe I should write a letter for them too."

Those were very loaded statements that Tod made, and Ignis wasn't sure which to follow up on. "Who...you almost...oh dear..." Ignis says slowly, trying to piece together her thoughts and getting flustered.

He looked back at her, rubbing his forehead, smiling. "I'm sorry. This whole thing has me very flustered."
He was sincere, truly, he had wasted this woman's time. "Honestly, I have to write many letters, how they will get to their various recipients? Only the Light knows."

/Duval/ Coping was practically his middle name at this point. The mental barrier he had put up to keep out those... vile memories had been lifted in a way, pleasantly so by Grace. An action he was grateful for, the mental consolation he was given to ease his mind, and stop him from tearing himself down. Though in some way, they still lurked, when he was alone it seemed. Well, after leaving Grace, they seemed to come back. An oddity at best. He had steered himself down the abbeys steps from Graces office and had entered the bathhouse. His feet carried him along, and it wouldn't take him long to do what he wanted to do. Simply, would he turn up at the receptionist, an old woman that was busy looking at herself in the hand mirror. "Give this to the owner love?" Duval nodded toward her, and flashed a smile at her, sliding a crumpled piece of paper toward the woman. She would arch an eyebrow at him as he left, peeking outward from her wooden desk. Once the man was gone, she put on her spectacles and unfolded the paper. It would read: "Hey.
With all that's happened after that attack, with all the cultists n' all that dumb shite... I think it's about time I holster me' flintlocks and try to get a wee job. That Ellie girl that I used to... 'talk' to, told me that he ran this place.
When Lekalis gets around, could ye give em this letter and perhaps we can talk it over, glass of wine and a nice sirloin?
Let me know, I'll be waiting patiently.
Cheers, From Nick Duval."
She would chuckle, and roll her eyes, stashing the letter away within a drawer. Meanwhile, Duval made his way outside and toward the town square, curious to see if he could catch George.

"Oh, I must be distracting you. I'm sorry. If you need some help, I could deliver some of them. It's the least I could do after you let me sleep here." Ignis says as she straps on her boots.

His eyes turned, lighting up with zealous vigor as he turned back towards the paper. His hands clenched the paper, his eyes scanning his half-written letter. His eyes then turned the inkwell, of which he turned at an angle, the ink flowing to soak the tip of the quill again.
He brought up the quill, his hands writing upon page, densely filling out the page, his heart pouring onto parchment as he finished it up. He pushed hard, dipping occasionally in the limited ink, slamming the final word of the farewell down, breathing out after a period of minutes.
"Well! Take this the tavern! Ask the Bartender for "Blood". He will tell you where his room is, slip this under it! Let the ink dry on the way, he'll find it when he gets back to his room."
He was more excited then ever, holding out the letter before her.

"Understood. Should I meet you somewhere?" Ignis asks, hoping she can navigate her way through the place.

He looked around, standing in his underwear and coat, like some lunatic. "Here! Just here! I'll be writing more letters!"

"Well, if that is what you prefer." Ignis says as she puts on her mask and cloak. Sheholds out her hand to receive the letter.

He looked at her hand, smiling as he handed the loose-leaf paper to her, nodding a affirmative as he turned back towards the desk, checking his drawers for more paper. "Thank you so much! Please, i'll make it up to you someday!"

"But, I'm doing this to repay you...and don't you want to put a seal on this?" Ignis asked as she looked at the sheet of paper in her hand now.

His eyes trailed down towards the paper, "Well, no. Just fold it up when its done drying. It has my name on it, he'll know."
He smiled again, closing up his coat. His eyes showed conviction, and his teeth shone, as if he were glowing. "Again, thank you. I appreciate you doing this for me. But please, get it to him, no time to waste!"
He walked forward, hands clenched, excited beyond measure. He moved past her, opening the door quickly, waving as he turned and headed deeper into the Abbey, rushing for the archives.
He had to find more paper.

Ignis grabbed her hat and made her exit. In truth she wasn't moving with much haste, because she figured the man was simply exaggerating.

Tod nearly ran down the hall, moving with must haste as he turned left, nearly sliding into the wall. A squeak eeking out from under his heels as he ran hard down the hallway. His eyes searched the halls, smiling as he threw himself forward without much of any self-preservation. His breath came out in controlled spurts, turning back towards another hall, finding a wooden door.
He slammed forward with vigor, ripping the door open, descending the stairs with a wheeze, rushing down them. He turned again, using the wooden brace as some sort of support as he slid around it, feet slapping down onto rock floor. His eyes searched the place, rushing over to various small spaces, checking books, looking around for any loose parchment. His hands writhed in excitement, and he finally found a desk.
He brought his hands upon a small pile of thick parchment, grabbing them, holding them tight. He turned, slamming back up the stairs.
This was going to be a long writing session.
