Edgar Milton
Resolve level: 0
Seeker Abomination
-Appearance
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Physical Description: Stands at about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with beige skin and a rather scrawny build due to having spent years without eating much in inprisonment. He has a wrinkly forehead, and green eyes with tired pouches under them. His hair is black and long enough to almost touch his shoulder, though most of it has been shaved off making most of his head bald save for a small part of the left side of his head.
In beast-form, he has crimson-red skin, long dark horns portruding out of the back of his head, a wolf-like snout with sharp teeth, dagger-long claws in place of nails and a much more muscular build that makes him stand at almost 6 feet tall.
Attire: Baggy green trousers that reach to his knees and a ragged brown cloak over his shoulder, and no shirt. His arms are bound in thick chains with multiple locks, and he has shackles around his wrists.
-Biography
Quirks: Hard-skinned, Stress faster, Nervous, Claustrophobia
Synopsis: A peaceful monk turned into a terrible abomination by years of imprisonment and experimentations – both alchemical and ritualistic.
Full: Edgar Milton was once a monk who lived in a remote town. He lived there rather peacefully with his mother, where he spent most of his time offering comfort to those who appeared to be feeling down. One day, when he was at the age of 22, his mother suggested that they would visit the town’s monestary, claiming that it would be an excellent opportunity for Edgar to further his studies of the holy texts, and also handed him a necklace along with it as a gift. Edgar was happy to oblige, and they headed to the monastery together. Little did Edgar know, however, what was about to ensue.
When they arrived it was revealed that it was no normal monestary, as it contained a secret sanitarium below ground where inhuman experimentations and rituals were conducted. Edgar was taken captive and became the sanitarium’s newest guinea-pig, and the mother was paid a handsome reward for bringing him in. Abandoned and betrayed, Edgar had to endure four years of endless torture and experimentation. At last the sadistic experimentors had completed the process of transforming Edgar into a carrier of a horrifying creature that would thirst for blood. They had recieved word of The Hamlet and the situation it was in some time ago, and decided that it would be a perfect place to test their latest weapon. A plague doctor, named Brenton, has been assigned to escort the ruined Edgar to the estate and see over him – both to make sure he is kept under relative control, but also to monitor his condition and its terrible possibilities.
Misc. Notes: Edgar has a large ”A” branded on the bald right side of his head, forever marking him as an abomination and property of research. His skin, particularly on his back, is covered in scars left by whips intended to bring out his inner beast. His mannerisms tend to be reserved and quiet and he usually responds with body-language until he’s grown more comfortable with the person.
-Skills & Equipment
Weapons: In human form he has nothing but his iron manacles to swing and being able to spew toxic bile, while in beast-form he has long claws capable of nasty slashes, sharp teeth with a powerful jaw, and horns for ramming.
Armor: Edgar has little else but his thick chains to protect him – otherwise he is bare-chested. His condition, however, has given him a leathery hide that can migate some miniscule damage, but of course should not be relied upon to soak up harm like a plate.
Other gear: A small pendant around his neck that had been given to him as a gift by his mother. It’s a pale, light blue crystal with an oval shape attached to a silver necklace.
Strengths: Thanks to the eldritch blood that courses through his veins he has the ability to transform himself into a ferocious, werewolf-like monster that can deal good damage. He also tends to be rather supportive and caring for others around him in his human form.
Weaknesses: Edgar is usually rather slow to trusting others after the torment he had gone through. His time spent in the cells of the sanitarium has made him develop claustrophobia and is terrified of the thought of being taken to one ever again. Transforming himself can cause stress for both himself and those who witness it, and his unnatural condition tends to attract disgust from those of faith (this is optional, since it is based off game mechanics and can be removed for the sake of roleplaying). While transformed he can also have some trouble controlling himself and his temper.
