"Well enough, I suppose..." He mused, making an emphatic groan as he rolled his shoulder and felt a sorespot on his ribs, giving Tilly an accusatory leer. Of course, tempered with a playful smile, "... I'd thought you bony enough without your clothes. With them..? Wouf, feels like I'd been sleeping with a bundle of hard coin." He scoffed with a sigh as he noted her rather slothful demeanour.
It was curious; he'd only just been settled with the prospect of her hasty nature, only to find it so definitely mellowed. Perhaps she wasn't a morning person..? Though, past warm and satisfying dawns were definite proof she'd more than enough energy in the mornings. Typically, at least. Though he couldn't place Florence's words precisely, he figured the Doctor warned of this... weariness. Memories of the queer concoction she'd planted on Tilly's chest came up, and her worrisome reaction too.
Lekalis sighed, shaking his head out of his pondering, and gathered up the food using his shirt as a makeshift carry-pouch. "Not yet, no... 'Ought to get on that today, don't you think..?" He mused, his tone and vernacular rather somber and subdued, much less exotic and eccentric than the night before. Though the wine still smelled about his neck and fingers. "... It'll be good to cook some stew tonight." He nodded, sitting himself near Tilly's belly, and balanced the food between his legs, still using his shirt as a makeshift platter for her to steal from.

Tilly shrugged haphazardly and grinned, "Don't you sleep better knowing where all our money is?" She waggled her shoulders and gave some hidden pocket by her hip a 'pat,' whereupon it jingled with the sound of coin. It was her favorite sound.
She reached to pluck out a hunk of bread, the most immediately appetizing to her on an uneasy stomach.
"I'll see if I can go pick out a pot or two when I go out to send off more invitations, ask Grace to announce the banns and all..." Tilly tore off a chunk of bread and popped it into her mouth, and troubled herself on the thought of Grace.
"...Do you think she'll be mad at me?"

Lekalis seemed to have an earlier wake up time, but it definitely took him longer to really become fully operational; he listened with the placidity of water in a pond, watching her with tired, amused eyes. His brows risen slightly as he nodded and squinted as she posed her question.
"I don't know Grace too well, but she seems awfully devout to you. More so than her own god, I'd say." He took a breath and sighed, looking up to the ceiling with thought, "I wouldn't fret much; I doubt she'll be mad. Folk of the Cloth tend to like weddings; gives them a bit of a reminder that they're relevant." He flared a devilish smirk as he shrugged, "But, really; you should be telling me if I should be worried. Seeing as you seem to have history with every stick and stone in this Hamlet." He nodded, turning slightly to face her better.

Tilly hummed and chewed the corner of the bread, her gaze growing distant with thought. She sighed,
"See, that's the issue." She sat upright, balancing on a bent leg as she gestured the bread in a pointing motion, "She gets jealous, and she didn't seem to be quite a fan of you." She patted the bread on the palm of the other hand, as if the worry was what was putting some liveliness into her,
"Seems like I always have to convince folks to be happy for me, for once, you know? They get sour when things start looking up..."
She looked to Lekalis, and more notably, the shirt-pouch of foodstuffs he still held as she nibbled tentatively on her own bread. "You ought to get some breakfast, too." She waggled a hand at the pouch.

He perked up some at the mention of him getting food before shaking his head, "No, no; I'll eat later, it's alright. Plenty to eat." He nodded sagely as he contemplated her words and shifted in his seat to be closer to her... Somehow. "I'd thought that just to be my affect on folk of her ilk; men and women that like their virtues and chastity tend to dislike me." He explained with an indifferent shrug, tossing his head back for a moment to let his inky hair bounce in small morning tangles. "Now, we'd gone on through Life in our different paths... But I've found that folk don't really want you to be happy. Least, most folk. Good friends'll help you be happy and the like. But even then, most folk just want you to be a certain type of miserable that makes them happy." He mused cynically with a sigh as he looked down to the food.
"Jealousy is a bit surprising though; you think she wants to marry you?" He chuckled, a jest that held a slow realization; women in this peculiar air did have a tendency to pursue eachother. Lekalis cocked his head to one shoulder curiously, "... Has she made advances-- Have you two..?" He smiled lightly at the prospect of Tilly; almost a bastion of the outside World's views, had convened with such an upside down dalliance. It was both amusing and curious... And perhaps a touch of jealousy flickered in the corner of Lekalis' smile.

Tilly's eyes widened with horror.
"What? You mean-- gods, no!" She shook her head vigorously and waved a hand, as though to wipe away the thought. Tilly loved Grace-- purely as a friend. The thought of Tilly laying with another of her own sex was disturbing, to say the least.
"You think I'm the type of person to go off and do... that?"
The very idea was insulting.

"Oh! Definitely no but... Well, Grace seemed to covet you awfully so; and you are awfully kind and giving..." He mused innocently, his tone lightening to almost a giggle as he shrugged and gave a slight nudge to Tilly's hips with his elbow. "... But you haven't quite answered the question!" He insisted mercilessly gossipy, "Have you? Has she made advances? Courtly so? I may have to duel her if that were the case..." His mood lightened and the little spat of humor seemed to have woken the Ex-Lord up fully...

"No! We're just friends, I assure you!"
Tilly groaned and pulled her hat down by its brim in utter dismay, as if she could banish the thought in such a motion. Thinking on it, though... there were times when the line was thin and blurred.
Tilly wished she did not think on it.
"You should know I'm not that giving."

With a triumphant sigh, he tossed his head back and hummed, then leant over to nudge his brow against her hatted crown before pulling back again teasingly. "I should, should I?" He posed scrutinizingly as he looked into his pouch of food and decided to pick up what remained of the carrots and cheese to bite into the latter while offering the former under Tilly's cap. "You were lovingly giving unto me these last few days..." He purred before a soft chuckle, his tone straightening up and finding some less salacious dignity.
"At anyrate; I'll be headed out to the Schwarz', the family's home we'd departed from before our expedition. See if I can't gather some strong men to help me with the labors of the home... Then I'll fancy the smithy, see if I can't get us some cutlery." He nodded as he made to rise, still holding the carrot beneath Tilly's hat, as he took a bite out of the cheese.

Tilly was indignant. "I am your wife!-- Almost!"
She still took the carrot he offered between her fingers, twiddling it as though it were a fancy cigar. Her fingers lifted up her hat a tad so that she could scowl at him with adequate theatricism. Though it did not take long for the sour look to fade as she looked at him,
"You're not leaving now, are you?"

Lekalis cackled a little as she shot him the sour look, though he shook his head and let his amusement subside, "No, no... I need to apply the lavender oil before we--" He huffed and stretched out his arms as he meandered to his satchel again, "--We expedite on our... Venture." He sighed out the last as he held the bit of cheese in his mouth and produced the tin of oil, lighter and definitely in need of a resupply, he made his way over to Tilly and sat heavily beside her again. He chomped through the cheese and held the remains in his mouth as he chewed, waving the cheese from her beltline to her chest "I love you." He hummed sweetly as he waited... \\

"Ah, right..." Tilly frowned down at herself; the scale-armor and the vest and the jacket and all made it terribly inconvenient to unbutton. She resigned herself to her fate and began shrugging off her jacket.
"I love you too."
Tilly sighed some as she pulled her scale-armor off herself after suitably de-hatting herself until it was just a stained, white shirt and her jerkin, the buttons of which her fingers had already set to work on. A hassle.
"I'm tired." She complained simply.

He pouted at her childishly, "Are you really?" He cooed as he set the tin on his lap and reached over to help her out of her coat and attire, his demeanour softened as he chuckled and shook his head, "I'd thought you said you got good sleep?" He inquired earnestly, though still amused as he chewed on his lip in light of the puzzle of gear she wore on herself. Sometimes, he wondered if it'd be easier to buckle a man into plate armor than it was to peel away Tilly's hefty layers. "You'd sleep better if you wore less of this to bed... Probably comfier too." He rambled.

Tilly shrugged her shoulders. She felt smaller without her coat. "I've always slept with everything on for ages." She waved the carrot in his direction, "I'd be colder, too, without it."
She unbuttoned the jerkin and let it sit limply off her shoulders.
"I'm always tired lately..." She tapped the carrot-tip on her lip in mock-pensiveness before pinning it between her teeth, "I wonder why."

"And what? I'm not enough heat for you?" He scoffed incredulously as he ceded his hands to flare his hair back in a vain manner, looking at her with a smolder before scoffing again, though falling to a light chuckle quickly as he happily pulled at the waist of Tilly's shirt, hiking it up to bear her belly to the air, he rose a brow; holding the shirt up, his eyes widened in horror. "By the Light..." He murmured in dismay as he stared at her bared stomach, then quickly saw to unscrewing the cap fretfully.
