Physical Description: Roland stands at a solid 5’10”. His body was tempered from years of constant training in anticipation for his first crusade, which is exhibited by his broad shoulders and moderate musculature. With a weight of 160 lbs, his body dedicated for long and enduring acts of combat.
The shape of his head being rather rectangular, complete with a square jawline. His hair is golden blonde, normally kept moderately short, complete with a five o’clock shadow. These features are hardly groomed due to the amount of time he remains in armor. With the most being a mild trim and a crude shave.
Attire: Thick full-plated steel armor complete with a sallet and bevor etched with the visage of a skull. A black tabard is worn atop his armor in a way to signify his need for penance, and underneath the armor is a black leather gambeson.
A thick leather strap is worn diagonally in opposite directions. On his back, these straps are fitted to carry his fusil, and a thick steel kite shield. Whilst his belt is fitted with a holster and sheath for both his arming-sword and flintlock pistol. Along his belt is several pouches meant to carry ammunition, or the occasional item of worship.

Backstory Synopsis: A man who has dedicated his entire life to his clergy misinterprets the feeling of heartbreak with God abandoning him for his sins. He has traveled to the Hamlet in a quest of penance with the vain hopes of finding redemption.

Misc. Notes: Roland rarely speaks, normally relying on simple gestures to get his point across. On the occasional moments where he does, he carries a rather soft-spoken voice. Vocal tendencies aside, his body remains rife with scars of self flagellation.
