Unexplained fatalities are a fact of life along the Cove , one only exacerbated by the eldritch horrors that haunt its waters. However, a recent wave of attacks has shifted from unfortunate to unbearable. In addition to the loss of several fishing boats, a trading cog from outside the Hamlet's borders was brought down, its valuable cargo thought lost beneath the waves-until now.
A crab-trapper claims to have found a grotto close to the cog's last known location,one easily accessible by boat. Hoping to recover he contents of their lost vessels, or gain any shares of ancient loot, beachcombers, dockers, and fisher-folk alike, alongside the cog's owners, have pooled their resources to hire a team to investigate this new discovery, and plumb the depths of what lies within.
Objectives:
Reward: 200 gold per piece of standard cargo recovered, 500 fee per cog chest. In addition, the navigator's guild is offering 750 gold pieces for a rough map of the Grotto. Mercenaries will be entitled to any other loot they find within it.
