Once more the rampant plague of fanatical worship in beings beyond comprehension has become a threat to the sanctity of the Hamlet. A coven of zealots have kidnapped several hapless villagers and made off with a sizeable number of eldritch curios. These cultists intend to offer their spoils to the avionic abomination known as the Shrieker.
Go forth into the Weald, and silence their incessant prayers before their ritualistic sacrifice to that blasted crow takes the lives of the innocent.
-= Expedition Details =-
Difficulty - Medium. I intend to make the expedition a bit mild however mistakes will be punished appropriately. Just play it smart and you’ll be fine.
Length - Short. While the task of finding the Shrieker Cult would be brief, the path will be cluttered with the feathered loons to stall the expedition.
Frequency of posts - Three days, everyone has responsibilities outside of the roleplay so each participant will be granted three days to post. After which their turn will be skipped over.
Goals - Exterminate the Shrieker and its fanatical worshippers.
Rewards -
8,000 gold split between the party.
Whatever loot that the cultists may have procured for their deity.
Combat - Combat will be done using a D20, higher rolls determining the hit and the severity of the damage. Difficulty will be scaled based off of the character. (I.E. if a character is unarmored then I will ask them to roll 15 or higher to determine how badly they’ve been hit. Or vice versa. Any questions about this aspect just feel free to ask.)
