Question on characters and dungeons

So I had a quick question! I was wanting to make another character to go along with the one I have now (when she is formally accepted/if she is) to go on an expedition. Are you allowed to control two characters in an expedition, or only one? I tried digging for an answer and I don't think I found a clear one.

We encourage different people to go on expeditions, for better roleplay, but there is nothing preventing it!
